The internet is a strange, strange place known for its hilarious information and extremely random trends. First we had planking, then we had tebowing and now? Now we have ‘breading.’
Anyone can take part in the ‘breading’ trend, all you need is a sliced pan and your pet cat. Seriously. It may be incredibly hard to believe this, but cat lovers across the world are starting to embrace this crazy phenomenon.
So what is it? Basically breading fans take a slice of bread, put a hole in the centre of it and then stick it over their cats head. Yep. It’s stupid and makes no sense – welcome to the internet.
You can use any type of bread to attire your cat with. Enthusiastic users have already posted pictures of cats modelling the latest wholemeal, plain and multi-seeded loaves on offer all over social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. It goes without saying that the cats themselves look thoroughly fed up and miffed about the entire ordeal.
A Facebook group with the amazing title of: “Putting bread on your cat so that people think you have a walking sandwich” is also actively encouraging people to upload their “breadcats.”
Some people really have too much time on their hands…
